Description
The booklet is in great condition but there is a bit of light yellowing on the inside pages and a little denting on area where staples hold it together - all VERY MINOR! The other two are advertising pieces most likely from magazines and are pasted on card boards showing creases and ripples but still nicely put together. Please use the photos as a guide to the condition and the last pictures feature the free magazine ad of the SS model!”I will be including a free Camaro SS Ad photo - see last 3 photos of this wonderful and free old ad from the 1960's era! An original!
Description: This set consists of one original booklet of all models for the 1960 OLDSMOBILE "Radiantly Styled for the Rocketing Sixties" featuring fabulous photos and advertising art of the decade. The other two 1960 pieces are of advertising layouts featuring the "GO OLDS '60 Springtime in a Rocket" from a magazine and one 1960 Oldsmobile 98 Official Pace Car photo from a dealership promo.
The first is a 32-page catalog (including cover) of all Oldsmobile models "1960 OLDSMOBILE" in excellent condition. It measures 5.25" X 8.25" with a dealer stamp on the back cover page from Loomis Motor Sales, Sturgis, Michigan. This is the larger catalog sales brochure version, not the more common smaller folder style brochure with a similar cover. The photos are of the exact item you will receive. This item is NOT a reproduction and was printed in 1959 for the 1960 opening car seasonal sales. Slight denting where staples are applied on the side to hold the booklet together. Very minor.
The other two are both ads most likely in magazines and removed to paste on to hard card boards. The 1960 Pace car photo features men from the dealership positioned in 98 Olds convertible Pace Car and measures 19.75" X 14". I believe this could be removed from the board with care or cut to size. The other is also a magazine art ad featuring the GO OLDS'60 "Springtime...In A Rocket!" a drawing of the car with a couple driving in a setting of springtime blossoming trees. This has a crease down the center where it was pasted together. This large ad has been kept covered in plastic and it seems that all the dirt and scratches are on that covering and not on the picture. It measures 22" X 14" including the hard board. These items will be carefully packed with protective covering.
I will try to accommodate the buyer. The shipping cost may have to be adjusted, depending on the zone of the buyer. This painting will be shipped with care and will need careful attention when wrapped for shipping.
I reserve the right to apply the true cost of shipping after the sale if the location of the buyer is far from my area and the shipping cost is a great deal more than expected.
Please ask any questions or for additional pictures before bidding as I want this to be a nice experience for you. It's wonderful to be able to buy great art studio and pottery pieces over the internet and have them delivered to your doorstep, so make certain that this is the one you love!
